The BOCC will be voting next Tuesday January 25th, at 1:30 PM on moving forward with the county’s acquisition of the Lindrick water system from FGUA. This has been in the works for some time, and now the time has come for the county to approve moving forward, which will normalize our water rates to be in line with what the rest of the county is paying, rather than the high rates we have been paying under FGUA. The BOCC meeting will take place at 8731 Citizens Drive. All are urged to attend to show our support to ensure the commissioners follow through on this project. If you can’t attend, and even if you can, you can email the commissioners to tell them you support the county taking on the water system.
