UPDATE: Dec 15, 2018. The county has completed the traffic study. The results showed that 85% of the traffic has exceeded the speed limit. At one spot teh average speeder was clocked in at 41 MPH, and our speed limit is 30 MPH. The traffic count was 6,600 cars per day. Based on these figures, Gulf Harbors does not qualify at this time to be converted to a golf cart friendly community.
UPDATE: Nov 30, 2018 The results of the poll showed 79 in favor of turning Gulf Harbors into a golf cart friendly community, and 78 voted against it. The Gulf Harbors Civic Association has submitted an application to the county, and the next step is for the county to process the application by conducting a traffic study and determining whether or not the community meets the necessary requirements.

We are currently in the process of setting up a post where you will be able to vote either for or against making Gulf Harbors a Golf Cart Community. Any property owner in Gulf Harbors is eligible to vote. These results will be presented to Pasco County when ready.
