Ken Dabbs started a petition to protest Pasco County’s proposal to pass a new MSBU to purchase the Gulf Harbors golf course. This is after a previous attempt in 2016 was challenged in court, and is still pending. Other posts on this page go into detail about that, and about the current litigation. The county conducted a vote of the property owners in 2016 before passing that MSBU, but the results were challenged in court. The county is now trying to pass a new MSBU, without asking the community to vote, because it did not like how the first vote turned out! The conduct of the county in ignoring the wishes of its citizens is a wake-up call to everyone. Even if you don’t live in Gulf Harbors, please sign Ken’s petition to stand up to this overreach by the county commissioners.
